Raven comes from a small, rural community in Ross County; located in the Appalachian region of Ohio and is the Strategic Communications Manager for Faces of Access. She is an advocate for identity development, low-income students' transitions to higher education, and girls' empowerment and leadership programming. Raven holds a Master of Social Work and bachelor's in psychology from The Ohio State University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D in social work at The Ohio State University.
