Professional Development & Continuing Education

The Professional Development & Continuing Education component of Faces of Access and the Midwest Alliance focuses on providing high-quality, real-world, and practical professional learning and networking opportunities for current and rising leaders.

Engaging in professional development and continuing education programming is a critical aspect of ensuring you are well-equipped to maximize your personal, professional, and academic goals and aspirations. A wealth of new knowledge can come from participating in these programs including:

  • exposing you to new ideas and perspectives;

  • expanding your skillsets

  • increasing your expertise in your field;

  • building confidence;

  • preparing you to tackle new and existing challenges; and

  • expanding your network.

Taking into account the ever-changing and ever-growing world we live in today, our professional development and continuing education offerings provide targeted training and practical resources that empower attendees to shape their own personal, professional, and academic experiences by being lifelong learners. Currently we offer professional development and continuing education through in-person and virtual network sessions and in-person and virtual workshops.
