Dr. Raven Lynch is a scholar-practitioner and licensed social worker in Ohio, whose work bridges community-informed research, teaching, and applied strategy to strengthen outcomes for young people, families, and communities. As a Principal Strategist at Re/val Strategies, Raven helps lead operations and oversees our evaluation and research portfolio. Through her work, Raven supports partners and clients in designing learning-focused evaluations, building practical implementation strategies, and centering youth and community voice in decision-making.

Raven brings more than a decade of experience across higher education, social service systems, and community-based practice. Her work is grounded in a community-centered approach and shaped by experience supporting youth and families, including work connected to juvenile justice spaces. Raven has published articles and written books related to examining social-emotional learning and family relationships as they relate to multiracial adolescents’ self-concept and identity development; human trafficking; and community-based supports.

A Chillicothe, Ohio native, Raven has partnered with urban, rural, and Appalachian communities across Ohio, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. She earned her PhD in social work, an MSW, and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from The Ohio State University. Raven is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Ohio.
