Terms and Conditions
The Journal on Community Strategies (JCS) is a community and open access, peer-reviewed publication supported by Re/val Strategies. By accessing, submitting to, or engaging with any content or services provided through JCS (the “Journal”) or Re/val Strategies, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern your use of the Journal’s website, submission system, published content, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
Open Access and Use of Content
All content published in JCS is freely available online without access fees or subscription barriers. Articles are licensed under a Creative Commons license, allowing users to read, download, share, and use materials for lawful non-commercial purposes, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors.
Author Responsibilities
Authors submitting manuscripts to JCS affirm that their work is original, properly attributed, and free of plagiarism. Submissions must not be under consideration by other journals at the time of submission. Authors are expected to follow ethical guidelines related to human subjects research, informed consent and assent, data use, and transparency in findings.
Editorial Independence and Peer Review
JCS is committed to editorial integrity and independence. All submissions undergo a blind peer review process by qualified reviewers. Final publication decisions rest solely with the Editorial and Review Board and are made based on scholarly merit, alignment with journal scope, and adherence to ethical standards.
User Conduct
Users may not engage in any activity that could harm or interfere with the Platform’s function or content integrity, including introducing malicious code, misrepresenting identity, or scraping data. Comments, feedback, or reader-submitted materials must be respectful, constructive, and relevant to the mission of the journal.
Advertising and Sponsorship
JCS accepts a limited number of advertisements, all of which are subject to review for alignment with the journal’s aims. Acceptance of advertising does not equal endorsement. JCS and Re/val Strategies reserves the right to decline or remove any advertisement at their sole discretion.
Disclaimers
While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy and integrity of published content, JCS, its editors, and Re/val Strategies make no warranties regarding the completeness, timeliness, or fitness of the content for any particular purpose. Responsibility for content rests with the original authors.
Modifications to Terms
JCS reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the Journal’s website and will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Platform constitutes agreement to the updated Terms.
